About Me

Hello! My name is Beth and I run Clever Canine Companions.
My approach to training is a compassionate, force free philosophy, with a focus on promoting a strong bond between owner and pup.
I have a number of years experience with training dogs and their humans in a range of skills, including tricks, life skills, and Assistance Dog work. Working with a range of breeds, ages and training challenges, it has highlighted the value of a close relationship and good communication between human and canine. This value is what we strive for here at Clever Canine Companions.

I have a strong belief in consistent professional development, and staying up to date with canine behaviour and welfare science. I am currently studying a BSc in Pet Behaviour and Welfare with an aim to become a Clinical Animal Behaviourist working with dogs upon graduating. I also enjoy wider reading, seminars and workshops along side this.

At present, I offer training for Assistance Dogs and their handlers through the ADUK candidacy charity RAD Assistance Dogs. I am a member of the Pet Professional Guild British Isles and I hold an iPet Level 3 Canine Emergency 1st Aid qualification.
